  This restaurant has a really nice entrance and easy to locate inside the main terminal of Boundary Bay Airport
  
  I got the Star Trek Burger for takeout:
  
  Star Trek Burger..........13.95
  The Ultimate Burger w/ 2 Patties Layered w/ Cheddar, Bacon, Mushrooms & Fried Onions
  
  My friend recommended me to try it. When I ordered during the lunch hour on the weekend, the place was packed, though they did a good job getting my order out in a decent amount of time! The ladies at the front desk had great customer service skills. The burger was humongous and it came in its own take out container. The fries followed in a separate container. The meat was cooked just right and the sauce was tasty! Be prepared to be in a food coma!

  Here's the deal with this place.
  
  If you come here for basic pub grub, it's an easy 4.  Quiet, not busy and you can watch planes land and take off.  Fully licensed, so alcohol is available.
  
  Burger with fries.  No complaints.  pretty decent and hence, the 4 stars as mentioned.
  
  Rib eye steak.  Cooked to order but a little under seasoned.  Not a deal breaker.  The salad that came with it, looked like a diner salad, minus the iceberg lettuce.  The steak came with steamed veggies but no potatoes or any starch whatsoever.  It's not included, at least according to the server, but it's on the menu??  That's just strange.  At $29.99, it seems like there was literally no effort put into this.  At least the veggies didn't have the texture of hospital food.  A reluctant 3 stars.
  
  Spaghetti with meat sauce.  Honestly, I do this better at home.  It tasted like grocery store mass produced sauce from a jar with a few additions to it.  This was simply not good.  2 stars
  
  Average = 3
  
  So, pro tip:  order the basic deep fried pub grub and you'll walk away happy.
  
  I'm only in the area to look at eagles, so this is an OK place to come.
  
  Free parking, free WIFI.  Alcohol is reasonably priced.

  Gawd terrible dining experience!
  
  "Birthday dinner" at Skyhawk was memorable in the WORSE way!
  (Have dined a few times at this mediocre eatery in passing)
  
  At onset, our waitress was unfriendly & unattentive.
  [After being served, Did NOT check on us,....actually had to leave table + walk up front with empty cup in hand for coffee refill!]
  
  We both ordered the 'hot turkey sandwich' which arrived quickly.
  - The gravy tasted chemically awful, turkey tasteless served on well-toasted(!?), unchewable bread ... probably to masked the staleness.
  Was not impressed.
  My partner finished his plate, whereas I only ate the dab of cranberry and took rest to-go, thinking it would be better if I added my own gravy and re-heat.
  
  During drive home, my BF developed a bad stomach ache and worse:( ... he was sick throughout the night.
  * Not realizing it may have been the food, I ate my barely touched packed Skyhawk's meal next day.  And within short time, also INSUFFERABLY SICK!  
  
  -  Called Skyhawk's manager to inform him both of us were ill after eating the same entree.  He immediately said "best seller, we sold 15 Hot Turkey Sandwich Meals that day"  (how would he know off the bat?)  No apologies.
  He had a devil may care, defensive attitude, reluctantly took my name, # when I offered. and told me "Owner would call me back tomorrow".
  *** Tomorrow NEVER CAME, it's now been a week and still counting!!!
  - NOT EVEN THE DECENCY to  acknowledge, address, or show any concern for customers and the potentially  'spoiled food' served.
  
  Will NEVER return to this out-of-the-way so-call restaurant!  
  *BTW - Receipt reads 'Daily Dinner Specials',... upon arrival, told it's been discontinue

  Great little breakfast joint. Love to come in the morning and watch the planes take off and have some eggs benny. Really good simple food

  I guess aviation isn't cheap.
  As a student pilot, I come here often for lunch. As if flight lessons aren't cheap already, the food is pricey. I say they are upholding the hefty price tag tradition that comes with everything aviation.
  Sorry, I went off topic.
  Other than the pricey food on every item, they sure cook up some delicious food. Food takes less than 10 minutes from the kitchen to your table. Super friendly staff. I have never seen them without a smile. Their omelette selection is wide and scrumptious. Sandwiches and soup aren't bad as well. I always leave satisfied. You can see the runways and planes taking off from every table.
  I wanted to give three stars but gave 4 instead because of the friendly staff and the runway view.
  Patio seating are available, not year round though.
